Louis J Leyes, MBA (he/him)

Louis currently lives in Virginia Beach with his artist spouse Susan and their two rescue pups Clyde and Wally. Susan and Louis have two grown children, Matt and Emilie, who are somehow still on the family cell phone plan.

Louis is an active member of several non-profits, dedicating his spare time to diverse causes from improving population health and fighting human trafficking to animal advocacy.  As you might guess from his volunteer work, his personal passions include health, nutrition and fitness as well as writing, playing guitar and dolphin-watching.  His active hobbies include pickleball, tennis and running on the boardwalk. He's dabbled in both marathon running and triathlons, but those may be things of the past... or not.

Louis is a 1989 graduate of UPenn's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and in 2002 received his MBA from Boston College with a focus in strategic consulting and marketing management. 

Upon completion of his undergraduate work, he was commissioned as an Ensign in the US Navy, and served on active duty for over 7 years, including 2 deployments to the Persian Gulf.  Since that time, he worked in engineering, marketing and project management at Texas Instruments, and as a general manager for a manufacturing company in York. In 2002, he decided to pursue the more people-oriented career of personal financial planning, beginning his career by helping military professionals become financially successful.
