
Lou Leyes is a 1989 graduate of UPenn's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and in 2002 received his MBA from Boston College with a focus in strategic consulting and marketing management.
Upon completion of his undergraduate work, Lou was commissioned as an Ensign in the US Navy, and served on active duty for over 7 years, including 2 deployments to the Persian Gulf. Since that time, he worked in engineering, marketing and project management at Texas Instruments, and as a general manager for a manufacturing company in York. In 2002, he decided to pursue the more people-oriented career of personal financial planning, beginning his career by helping military professionals become financially successful.
An avid student of personal development, Lou has attended dozens of seminars and incorporates the techniques learned into his planning practice to help his clients reach their fullest potential.
Lou is an active member of York SCORE and the York Health Foundation. As you might guess from his volunteer work, his personal passions include health, nutrition and fitness as well as business and personal success planning. His hobbies include racquetball, tennis and golf, and he's dabbled in both marathon running and triathlons. Lou lives in York with his wife Susan and has two grown children, Matt and Emilie.
